Classic Chanel design, simple and effective. Goes with many things. Buy half size up.
The reason
I love shoes, and I can't bare to see them perish. When the buckles on my wedding shoes started to rust I thought it's time to do something about it. From now on the shoes might be gone but the appreciation continues!

Chanel ankle strap 85mm in black and beige leather with charms
The most beautiful shoes by Chanel so far. Love the noises the charms make while I walk. Reminds me of Christmas somehow. :) Comfortable height a bonus.
Victoria Beckham sandals 85mm in brown leather
My second pair of Beckham shoes. At 85mm the lack of arch support isn’t too noticeable. Buy half size up.

Valentino Rockstud pumps 85mm in nude leather
My attempt to have shoes at a more friendly height so I can wear them all day and night. However it's not happening with these shoes. They have to be one of the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever had, even at 85mm. They compare to my Zara-shoe nightmares. I have tried them on 3 times now and each time my feet would become ever so painful. Will avoid Valentino heels from now on.
Aquazzura Forever Marilyn pumps 85mm in black suede
A classic Aquazzura design, with new color, height, and material each and every season. Im not a big tassels person but these seem cute. Love the cut-out heels too. Even thought at 85mm the silhouette seems a lot taller. The usual comfortable Aquazzura last and support. True to size.

Christian Louboutin Pigalle pumps 85mm in black patent
I am compromising - must be getting old! I do enjoy the 85mm comfort for day time wear. They don't look as nice but my feet are grateful. Pigalle could easily be the best-looking 85mm available so I shouldn't complain. Buy one size up.
Rupert Sanderson Nada pumps 80mm in glitter delta gold
My second pair of Nada. I bought the first pair not knowing for sure if I would get a lot of wear. They were on sale and I thought why not. They turned out to be extremely versatile and I basically wore them to death. Literally. When the Sanderson sale began it was time to grab another pair. They are very comfortable and I love the vamp and fit. Glitter pink was also available and I wish I had gotten those instead of gold. Buy half size up.

Number Twenty-One ankle-strap sandals 85mm in blue and silver
Didn't plan to buy shoes in Japan as imports are so expensive. Nonetheless I went to Isetan for a stroll while husband was out shopping for fishing gear and came across these. Number Twenty-One seems to be an in-house brand for Isetan. They are manufactured in Vietnam to keep the costs down I suspect, and some of the designs are "inspired" by other designer labels. These for instance are a dead ringer of the Aquazzura shoes I was thinking of buying (I did;t because the fit wasn't particularly comfortable). At 1/4 of the price of Aquazzura I did not hesitate. They turn out to be reasonably comfortable, would be good if there's a bit more padding on the soles. Love the straps and the color contrasts. True to size.

Christian Louboutin You You 85mm in beige patent
A practical and essential pair to add to the collection. The usual Louboutin comfort. Buy half size up.

Roger Vivier Belle De Nuit 85mm in burgundy patent
Belle De Nuit in 85mm is a compromise but I feel that just because I need to walk around it doesn't mean I have to trot around in my Birkinstocks? With the new rubber soles these shoes are a lot lighter than the leather version and especially the ones with metal buckles. The insoles are nicely padded too and I have to say they are a lot easier on my feet than the 100mm. Am I getting old? True to size.

Jimmy Choo Edge boots 85mm in navy suede
I bought these years ago and only worn them once since. I'm not sure what to make of the pom poms but I guess without them the boots would look a bit boring. Elegant and feminine as per the usual Jimmy Choo style, I can just sit there and look at them all day. Buy half size up.
Marc Jacobs ankle strap pumps 85mm in black suede
Another pair of dress pumps similar to these but even dressier. Reliably comfortable, they were the shoes I take with me on business trips. True to size.

L.K. Bennett slides 85mm in black leather
That was a point in my life when I loved slides. I guess they look like your typical Barbie shoes and I was once upon a time a Barbie addict. Back to the shoes. They have the softest leather straps in the world - I wonder if they are made out of lambskin? They also stay on snugly as well, which is a must for a good pair of slides. Too bad not all L.K. Bennett shoes are as comfortable as these. True to size.

Louboutin Ron Ron 85mm in black leather
I thought I could sacrifice look to comfort and went for these 85mm Ron Ron (plus 100mm was sold out!). The truth is it's all or nothing for me as I realised. When they are not high enough it's just not the same. Buy half size up.
Chanel pumps 85mm in black/beige patent
I can only describe the material as laminated cork. A very strange concept but they are comfortable nonetheless. Toe caps come in 3 colors: black, red and navy. I had a hard time deciding which but settled for black at the end. Red is definitely nice especially the slingback version. Buy half size up.
L.K. Bennett Shilo pumps 85mm in beige patent
These were on sale so I thought why not? The fit feels slightly bigger than the red ones but they are still not the most comfortable shoes. One night I had them on for 30 mins and brisk-walked. My feet hurt so bad and I had to cab back. True to size.
Jimmy Choo pumps 85mm in beige patent
I settled for these as I had had little success in finding a pair of nude patent Louboutin. I am not a fan of pointy shoes and these are as pointy as I can handle. I would like them to be 100mm but you can't beat how comfortable they are at 85mm. Buy half size up if you want more room in the toe compartment.
Jimmy Choo slides 85mm in honeydew green satin
From the same collection as the slingbacks. I was never sure about them, especially the medallion thingy. And I find slides a little more difficult to go with my closet anyway so they don't get a lot of use. True to size.
Jimmy Choo slingbacks 85mm in honeydew green satin with dots
Love how colorful they are but at the same time they are a bit tricky when it comes to matching. The usual Jimmy Choo comfort and quality, I am hoping I will get more use of them as it is all about colors this season! True to size.

Jimmy Choo slides 85mm in vinyl and white leather trimming
I can see these getting a lot more use if I lived in Miami or something, where people just hang out by the pool all day looking beautiful. (Or have I watched too many CSI Miami episodes?) I was worried about the vinyl but they are comfortable and surprisingly soft. True to size.
