Strappy black sandals are back! I have been eyeing scrappy ankle wrap sandals for a while. Could not bring myself to settle for Stuart Weitzman as they don't seem to fit me too well. And now I finally came across these with mega ankle straps. It's worth the wait. They look nice with short and longer length hemlines. True to size.
The reason
I love shoes, and I can't bare to see them perish. When the buckles on my wedding shoes started to rust I thought it's time to do something about it. From now on the shoes might be gone but the appreciation continues!

Gianvito Rossi Sofia ankle strap pumps 105mm in black and beige fabric
Another pair of Gianvito Rossi shoes I found at the outlet sale. They seem very similar to Gia except for the slightly thicker ankle straps. Since they were cheap plus I would get an extra quantity discount so I thought why not. Nice fit and support. True to size.

Gianvito Rossi Gia ankle-strap pumps 105mm in black patent
I have been looking for a pair of ankle wrap pumps for a while. Can take Louboutin's Uptown off my watch list now that I have found these. They are my first pair of Gianvito Rossi and they feel quite promising. The workmanship and fit seem superb and consistent with the Rossi legacy. Feeling chuffed too because I found them at an outlet for a fraction of the original price. Buy one size up.

Valentino platform d'orsay 105mm in black patent
When I saw these shoes in Harrods my heart was racing so much I had to walk away to cool off. Five minutes later I found myself running back to the shoe department to try them on. They came in hot pink, red and black but my size was sold out with pink and red. Well at least I didn't have to make a painful decision between red and black. They seem a lot higher than 105mm for some reason. Perhaps it's the elegant elongated shaped heels. Love the bows. I take them out to admire them from time to time! Buy half size up.

Miu Miu bicolor pumps 105mm in black and grey patent
My first ever pair of Miu Miu. The verdict? They rub a bit at the back and they are most certainly not as comfortable as Louboutins. I do love the very-Chanel-two-tone design, and the shape is nice. And the hidden platforms make walking possible with 105mm heels. True to size.

Marc Jacobs ankle straps 105mm in red leather
The retro look makes these shoes timeless on one hand but it's also very difficult to match them with my not-so-retro closet. Maybe I need more Marc Jacobs quirky girly stuff for my closet. It is also a shame that I lost one leather strap during a move so the current straps are half the original's length. Still, they are to stay as part of my collection for years to come. True to size.
Kate Spade sling backs 105mm in black snake-print leather
Of all the Kate Spade shoes I have these are the most comfortable ones. Love the fit and the tapered shape as well, which allow my toes to rest nicely. They came in gold as well and I wish I had bought them as well. These are so much better than the usual Kate Spade! True to size.

Marc Jacobs ankle boots 105mm in grey patent leather
Love the bow details. With the 10mm platform the height doesn't seem to be an issue anymore and they are fairly comfortable to walk with for long periods of time. Buy one size up.

Kate Spade ankle straps 105mm in black/white/fuchsia satin
Love the colors, love the little bow, love the straight, clean-cut heels. Don't like the fit, even though they are already a lot better than the usual Kate Spade, they still hurt my feet a little. The straps feel so stiff! True to size.

Jimmy Choo sling backs 105mm in gold leather
The perfect evening shoes with elegant details! Again I love how neat they make my toes look. Unfortunately the front straps are a little tight and the metal snake like knots are quite hard on my feet. I also got these half a size too small, which doesn't help. Still I wear them when I know I don't need to stand up for an extended period of time and they are perfectly fine. True to size.
