I considered these for a while as I was unsure about exotics. I caved finally and am annoyed to find that they are not even comfortable. There’s not a lot of support and my feet keep sliding forward as a result. Surprising as my other Rupert Sanderson shoes fit like gloves. True to size.

Bought these back in 2015 but kept forgetting to post them. I like the look and the comfort level, even though they are a size too big for me.  I somehow decided to go a size bigger in case they are too snug.  I was wrong but its not a big problem with insoles. They still have pretty good arch support.  However perhaps it is the very reason that the calves are quite big also?  They meant to be slouchy but the right foot would slide all the way down when I walk.  I have put extra paddings inside but to no avail.  It is quite a nuisance.  True to size.

Another purchase in the irresistible online sale. While I love the color I have to say I'm a little disappointed with the cut.   The usual signature low curvy vamp is nowhere to be seen! The toe compartment seems a bit deeper than usual too.  I guess they will at least be comfortable.  Buy half size up.

My second pair of Nada. I bought the first pair not knowing for sure if I would get a lot of wear.  They were on sale and I thought why not. They turned out to be extremely versatile and I basically wore them to death.  Literally.  When the Sanderson sale began it was time to grab another pair.    They are very comfortable and I love the vamp and fit.  Glitter pink was also available and I wish I had gotten those instead of gold.  Buy half size up.

My first pair of Ariel.  The footbeds are very roomy and comfortable, typical Rupert Sanderson fit.  I also like the curvy vamp, the little details make all the difference on the feet.  Buy half size up.

Rupert Sanderson Hong Kong 23K Gold pumps 100mm in navy patent

Another pair of Hong Kong and my most versatile pair so far, especially in the winter and they seem to go with everything.  They are actually a very dark blue like Patsy but it's so dark it's almost black.  These will probably be my last pair of Hong Kong as there will be a facelift to the design. Buy half size up.

I spotted these on a magazine at the beginning of the season and I had been thinking about them here and there.  Would I find something to go with the bright blue?  Would the pvc look and feel ok?  Would they stay on properly?  When these baby went on sale on the website I decided to give them a go.  I'm so glad I did as they are now one of my favourite shoes.  Love how different they are constructed and they look fabulous on.  And they are comfortable too.  True to size.

I love the boldness of the black elastic design, and yet there are many details with the straps and soles.  I can look at them forever.  The colours are versatile enough although the height is a little unfriendly for walking around.  Will report back once I try them.  True to size.

Another pair of summer sandals.  Love the colour. And they seem quite supportive and comfortable.  I ran out of time to try them this summer and they are now back into the box for the time being.  True to size.

I love the colour and I thought I would give them a try.  I have to say I am still unsure about super pointy shoes. They tend to make my feet look bigger than they are?  Buy half size up.

They have the softest lambskin insoles and linings they fit like gloves.  Love the sequin bling effect.  I got them in the sale and I wish I had got other colours as well!  They came in gold and silver also. Small to size - buy one size up.

These are my latest best friend.  They are so comfortable I can walk in them all day and night.  Love the slightly pointy toes.  Official colour is navy but it's so dark it would pass off as black.  Buy half size up.

These are hot.  Love the height and the shape of the heels.  I feel special when I have them on.  Unfortunately they are not very comfortable as they don't stay on very well.  Perhaps platforms and slingback don't mix. True to size.

Rupert Sanderson Peggy 100mm wedges in beige patent

I bought these wedges from the website along with Wenjens and I have to say I am much happier with them.  The fit and the shape are all very Rupert Sanderson, and it suits my feet well.  The only problem if I have to nitpick?  The colour is slightly too light against my skin tone.  True to size.

I got these from the Rupert Sanderson website and I have to say I am a little disappointed with the way they look.  The shape is just not right for some reason.  They don't seem to have the usual delicate line. They seem too wide almost?  The color is also a little lighter than expected.  Still they seem rather comfortable at 110mm and I think I might use them as my drinking shoes, since I don't mind if drinks are spilled on them or not!  Buy half size down.

So this is it.  My funkiest pair of shoes ever!  Thank you Mr. Sanderson!  When I saw them I could not believe how fun they are.  They have so many busy details and yet everything goes really well together.      Who has parrots on shoes and look good?   The fuchsia straps are just icing on the cake too.  I can just sit and look at these shoes forever.   As an added bonus they are the most comfortable shoes too.  True to size.

Another pair of Hong Kong without the 23K gold heels.  They are still very stunning and the shade of orange seems to change depending on the lighting.  I love the interesting softer, candy-like color.  Love Hong Kong!  Buy half size up.

Another pair of perfect shoes from Rupert Sanderson.  Love the shape and they fit like gloves.  Love the somewhat retro but at the same time futuristic design.  Simple and elegant, I don't think I would ever get bored of them.  True to size.

Another pair of Hong Kong in red. The moment I tried my first pair in lilac I got hooked. The last is just incredible they fit like gloves.  I had second thoughts on the gold heels with the already very loud red patent.  Then I thought why not?  Might as well indulge! Again the color on the top picture is closer to the true color.  Buy half size up.

Finally I got a chance to check out the Rupert Sanderson store and I instantly fell in love with these shoes.  Hong Kong is apparently another version of the very famous Winona, with the gold heels being an added signature.  It works for me.  There are many color combinations to choose from and I had a hard time choosing.  The fact that I had run back to buy a couple more pairs of these after I wore them for a day because they were so comfortable is another story.  The leather is the softest and the shape is very beautiful and elegant.  Love the seemingly nude but slightly lilac color also. The 100mm heels are easy to handle because the fit is so nice.  Buy half size up.
