The reason

I love shoes, and I can't bare to see them perish. When the buckles on my wedding shoes started to rust I thought it's time to do something about it. From now on the shoes might be gone but the appreciation continues!

Alaia sandals 110mm in beige

A little higher than my usual 100mm, I hope these would be comfortable. The fit and support seem promising when I try them on around the house. Love the little details such as the non-slipped soles and the beautiful box. True to size.

Valentino Rockstud pumps 85mm in nude leather

My attempt to have shoes at a more friendly height so I can wear them all day and night. However it's not happening with these shoes.  They have to be one of the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever had, even at 85mm.  They compare to my Zara-shoe nightmares.  I have tried them on 3 times now and each time my feet would become ever so painful. Will avoid Valentino heels from now on.

Max & Co. flats with ankle wrap in nude suede

My sister got these in black and I ran out to get myself a pair in no time.  Love love love the bows.  Maybe it's my Creamy Mami complex from childhood sneaking up on me?  As high maintenance nude suede can be I still decided to go for it.  The colour has that leg extending ability black doesn't have.  They will look great with shorts. True to size.

Rupert Sanderson Hong Kong 23K Gold pumps 100mm in lilac/nude patent

Finally I got a chance to check out the Rupert Sanderson store and I instantly fell in love with these shoes.  Hong Kong is apparently another version of the very famous Winona, with the gold heels being an added signature.  It works for me.  There are many color combinations to choose from and I had a hard time choosing.  The fact that I had run back to buy a couple more pairs of these after I wore them for a day because they were so comfortable is another story.  The leather is the softest and the shape is very beautiful and elegant.  Love the seemingly nude but slightly lilac color also. The 100mm heels are easy to handle because the fit is so nice.  Buy half size up.
