Chanel sneakers in green

Would not have picked green usually but since it was off season and there were only burgundy and green left. Surprisingly green goes really well with everything. It’s a vibe! They are very soft and comfortable, especially when compared to the beige pair I have. And the darker color makes it less stressful for scuffs etc. I bought half size up as per usual for trainers fitting.

Chanel espadrilles in black, gold, and green

 Love the colour combinations and texture, and ether fabric seems a lot softer than the black tweed (hence a lot more comfortable). True to size.

Chanel ankle strap 85mm in black and beige leather with charms

The most beautiful shoes by Chanel so far. Love the noises the charms make while I walk. Reminds me of Christmas somehow. :) Comfortable height a bonus.

Chanel combat boots in blue, white, black tweed

Decided I would join the combat boot brigade (see what I did here lol) but wanted something a bit more feminine. These fit the bill perfectly. They even have velvet laces! I get more use of these than my other stupid ankle boots with heels. Buy half size up.

Chanel espadrilles in black and gold tweed

Another pair of espadrilles for winter colors. Works when we have warm winters in Hong Kong. Buy half size up with tweed.

My first pair of espadrille flats. Neutral colours which go with almost everything. I am still feeling quite meh when it comes to flats. True to size.

 

Chanel sandals in red leather

I like my first pair from last year so much I bought another pair when I spotted them on sale in Vienna. I was able to buy half size down because of the softness of the leather.  

Chanel sandals in black and white

More sandals!  I must be ageing as I have now so many pairs of flat sandals.  Love everything about these: the designs, the Chanel chains, and the tactile checker fabric. They are comfortable too.  Buy half size up.

Chanel ballerina flats in grey and black leather

A welcoming departure from the recent sportier collection, these shoes have the softest leather in the world.  Love the elegant bow and two-tone arrangement.  Don't think they will stand up to the rain though.  True to size.

Chanel ballet flts in burgungy patent

Finally, Chanel ballet flats that do not have the usual two-tone design.  Not that I dislike the classic signature Chanel design but I think we are all a little bored season after season.  These came in burgundy and black and you wouldn't believe they are the same pair of shoes.  Somehow black seemed really dull and old looking I didn't have trouble deciding which I was going to get.  Love the chain detail and the little dangling CC.  True to size.

Chanel ankle straps 100mm in pink fabric and black patent

These look so cute and interesting I had to have them.  Love the assorted Chanel objects on the fabric.  The soles (where the heels are) are actually made of a hard resin-like material, and it gives a good balance visually with the busy looking front.   Sadly these shoes are still sitting in the box brand-new, as I have too many choices when it comes to pairing a little black dress.  And now I can't help to think maybe I am already too old for something so sweet and cute! Buy half size up.

Chanel slingbacks 90mm in black satin

Classic evening shoes with elegant Chanel CC in pearl details.  I thought I would get quite a lot of use of them but I guess I don't go out too often in the evenings.  And if I have to nitpick they are not quite high enough to look va-va-vroom, but the up side is that they are extremely comfortable and the straps stay on nicely.  True to size. 

Chanel ballet flats in yellow and black leather

I have only worn those 2 or 3 times because there is some kind of rough patch which rubs the back of my left heel.  I haven't got time to investigate what is actually causing it - I don't have a lot of patience for shoes which hurt.  The soles are otherwise soft with extra padding and super comfy.  Buy half to one size up.

Chanel pumps 85mm in black/beige patent

I can only describe the material as laminated cork. A very strange concept but they are comfortable nonetheless. Toe caps come in 3 colors: black, red and navy. I had a hard time deciding which but settled for black at the end. Red is definitely nice especially the slingback version. Buy half size up.

Chanel sling backs 95mm in beige suede

I don't think much about these shoes to be honest but they were on sale so here we are. The small wedge heels are a little too chunky looking to my taste but I guess they make the shoes a little more causal but unique looking at the same time. The little CC logo at the back is nice too and the color makes them pretty versatile. Leather is very soft and comfortable. True to size.
