The official color is called metal. I love how they are practically a mixture of Ron Ron's round toe and Elisa's slender heels, plus an interesting d'orsay design. It wasn't until I tried them on then I realised how challenging they could be. I guess the d'orsay cutout is rather shallow and I can't help but to feel that half my feet are sticking out. The shoe guy assured me that my feet are narrow enough for a good fit and that they look fine. I read on the Louboutin book that the design was an inspiration of Cinderella's shoes. The extra exposure should make one feel sexy like a princess in her glass shoes. Now it's all making sense! Buy half size down.
The reason
I love shoes, and I can't bare to see them perish. When the buckles on my wedding shoes started to rust I thought it's time to do something about it. From now on the shoes might be gone but the appreciation continues!

Chanel ballerina flats in grey and black leather
A welcoming departure from the recent sportier collection, these shoes have the softest leather in the world. Love the elegant bow and two-tone arrangement. Don't think they will stand up to the rain though. True to size.
Louboutin Beauty pumps 100mm in brown leather
Louboutin has taken toe cleavage to a new level with these shoes. Love the little innocent good-girl bow, which is a nice contrast to the subtle but naughty shallow toe compartment. Am I reading too much into my shoes? Maybe. To me these are beautiful as poetry. I have yet to find out whether they stay on as well as regular shoes. Maybe it's my wardrobe, I find brown a little tricky to match. Official color is cognac. True to size.
Miu Miu bicolor pumps 105mm in black and grey patent
My first ever pair of Miu Miu. The verdict? They rub a bit at the back and they are most certainly not as comfortable as Louboutins. I do love the very-Chanel-two-tone design, and the shape is nice. And the hidden platforms make walking possible with 105mm heels. True to size.
Roger Vivier Belle De Nuit 100mm in beige leather
When I saw these in beige leather my senses and practicality flew right out the window. They are beautiful and comfortable but very fragile. I have to remind myself to be careful when I wear them so they stay clean. I love the color and leather feels a lot softer than the patent leather version. True to size.
Louboutin No Prive sling backs 125mm in black fishnet and cork
I had my doubts with these because I'm not really a fishnet person. I'm glad I got them as they go with everything and the fishnet is actually quite interesting to look at. The only thing I can pick on is the fact that the peep-toe trimming seems a bit rough and they hurt my toes after a long wear. Buy half size up.
Louboutin No Prive sling backs 125mm in brown suede and cork
I don't think I can get tired of No Prive. I love the way the shape my feet. And it's just amazing how 125mm can actually be wearable. I had them on up and down the subway then stood all night for drinks one evening and my feet were fine. They are the ultimate party shoes! Buy half size up.
Jimmy Choo sandals 95mm in beige patent
I came across these at a sale and I thought why not. They are so neutral and versatile they would pretty much go with everything. They are comfortable (good enough for a garden party!). I do wonder if the leather is starting to deteriorate as it's getting quite sticky. True to size.
