The reason

I love shoes, and I can't bare to see them perish. When the buckles on my wedding shoes started to rust I thought it's time to do something about it. From now on the shoes might be gone but the appreciation continues!

Jimmy Choo mid-calf boots in beige suede

The ethic touches make these a little tricky to match with my wardrobe.  And I hate the tide straps which tend to get undone all the time.  Love the ultra soft rabbit fur lining though.  True to size.

I should think the color is actually more salt and pepper.  I came across these when I was looking for the sold-out UGGS fur boots.  Love the smooth rabbit fur, too bad the boots are starting to get bald patches.  It's hard to retire them as they have been my best friend for the last 4 or 5 winters.

YKX & Co. mid-calf boots 100mm in brown suede

I bought these at a high street store in Hong Kong.  I guess I was desperate at the time, and I should never have bought them.  They are not very comfortable to walk in and the folding flap never seems to sit right.  The shape of the front seems weird as well.  Am I being picky?

Love the bow details. With the 10mm platform the height doesn't seem to be an issue anymore and they are fairly comfortable to walk with for long periods of time.  Buy one size up.
